“What makes a good partnership last?” Snail Hu, Sales Manager at SUDA Laser, pondered this as she sipped her morning coffee in a bustling Kuala Lumpur café. She and her colleague, Shining Lee, were in town for the IPEX exhibition, eager to reconnect with old clients and make new ones. Malaysia had always been a key market for SUDA, and this trip was as much about deepening relationships as it was about showcasing their latest laser cutting machines and CNC routers. 

The exhibition hall buzzed with energy. At SUDA’s booth, curious visitors gathered to see their machines in action. One local manufacturer, impressed by the precision of the laser cutters, asked Snail, “Can it handle complex designs quickly?” Without hesitation, Snail smiled and replied, “Absolutely. These machines are built to deliver both speed and detail, giving you the flexibility to tackle any project.” That answer sparked a deeper conversation, and by the end of it, the manufacturer promised to return for a demonstration. 

But it wasn’t all about the exhibition. In between, Snail and Shining took to the road, visiting long-time clients who had been with SUDA for years. One memorable stop was a factory that had been using SUDA’s CNC routers since 2010. Over a hearty local lunch, the client enthusiastically shared how the machines had helped their business grow. Shining, always approachable and easygoing, chimed in, “It’s great to see how well the routers have worked for you. And trust me, the latest models are even better!” 

The trip wasn’t without its surprises. On their way to meet a potential client, a sudden downpour had them taking shelter in a small roadside shop. While waiting out the rain, they struck up a conversation with the shop owner, who, it turned out, had been considering upgrading his metalworking equipment. By the time the rain stopped, they had another lead. As their trip came to an end, Snail and Shining left Malaysia with more than just new business prospects. They had rekindled old friendships, forged new partnerships, and reinforced what SUDA Laser stands for: innovation, reliability, and above all, connection.
